Project #1: Create a new 3D printed bookmark Tinkercad!

Your bookmark should be standard size, which means:

Length: 152.4 mm
Width: 50.8 mm
Height (thickness): 2 mm (for any part in the book)

Make sure to name your bookmark "yourname-fin" so I know I can print it. Make sure to watch videos below if you need help.

Project #2: More In Depth Jam Session!

Click on your teacher's name from the week prior (above) to sign into code.org. You will find a longer, more in-depth version of last week's assignment for those interested in the intersection between music and computer science. You will also learn about the music industry.

Project #3: Recreate a Dream with CoSpaces Edu

Scroll back to our Cospaces (Delightex) assignment to use the link to sign in. Recreate a dream you've had. Use the audio recording tool to narrate the experience to provide context/explanation for those viewing it. Post your dream to Padlet!

Challenge #4: Minecraft House Poster Competition!

Either in my server or your own, design a house and then use Canva to create a poster representing your house. I'm leaving lots of room for creativity. Griefers will sit out of all activities.

Make sure to your the "printscreen" key to take your screenshots. Once you make the outline, your screenshot is on your clipboard and ready to paste.

Our Science Fiction Journey!

The year is 2075 and you have been selected to make a 1 year voyage across the stars to an earth-like planet. Each occupant on the ship is allowed to one room for the ship. What will your room look like? What will keep you happy and sane over the long journey? Is it a bedroom or a collective room? Keep scale in mind - the room can be large or small.

Installing your room onto the ship!

When you are finished, you must install your room onto the ship. You will do this using the sharing features on CoSpaces and Padlet. I will give an in-class demonstration. I will also post more directions next week.

What is Cospaces?

CoSpaces is a 3D creation tool that allows you to create virtual spaces (and much more) and then view your creations in virtual or augmented reality. It is a digital sandbox that fosters creativity and imagination. Today, we'll make our accounts, complete the tutorial, and then explore the program in preparation for next week's assignment!
