With a partner or partners, select a plot in Valenwood. Once a block has been placed, the plot is taken. The chest next to the plot is off limits to all but the team building next to it. All other crates are to be shared by the class. Trade with other teams to get what you need. I'll be handing out doors, beds, chests, and of course....BOOKSHELVES! You have two days to build. On the third day we will take pictures with our new houses!

Only the keep - the center building of a castle - remains of the Hedingham Castle in England. During WWI, the castle was used by the military and much of the castle was burned during this time. Schools now regularly take tours of this castle and its surrounding gardens.
According the the Guinness Book of World Records, the Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle. It was first built in the year 800, and kings and rulers kept building it for centuries (hundreds of years). Today, the President of the Czeck Republic lives here. Many rulers have called this place home. It was damaged and rebuilt after many wars. Want to see where it is on a map?
The Neuschuanstein Castle (New Swanstone Castle) is one of the most beautiful castles ever built, and it was used as inspiration for Disney's Sleeping Beauty. This castle was built by King Ludvig II of Bavaria. This king spent all of his huge fortune building this castle. He spent so much money that his people eventually threw him out of the castle and removed him from power. He was found dead shortly after, and many believe he was murdered.
Hever Castle was originally built in 1270 as a defensive castle. It later became the home of a powerful family - the Boleyns. The castle - like many - fell into ruins over the centuries. An American named William Waldorf Astor purchased the castle in 1903. He used his vast wealth to restore the castle so he could actually live there.
