Monuments and Wonders! 

Over the next few weeks, you'll have an opportunity to design you own monument. What is a monument? a statue, building, or other structure erected to commemorate a famous or notable person or event. You can be serious, but you don't have to. My example is a monument to one of Minecraft's strangest characters. Just think of your build as a tribute to someone, something that happened, or an idea.

Your build should include a sign with your name and class. You can include a portfolio in a book chest to explain your build. Look below for some real-world ideas for monuments.
